CUNA has re-launched CreditUnionsVote.com leading up to this year’s elections with the latest information on changes to primaries and voting by mail/absentee ballot due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Life has changed drastically due to the ongoing pandemic, but primary elections still need to be held leading up to November’s general election, though perhaps under different circumstances than most are used to,” said Adam Engelman, CUNA’s director of federal grassroots and programs. “In addition to the usual information on registration and polling places, CreditUnionsVote.com contains the latest information on changing election dates, as well as mail-in and absentee ballot options. This election is still an opportunity for credit unions to make their voices heard.”
CUNA launched its “Credit Unions Vote” Member Activation Program (MAP) campaign earlier this year, ahead of the New Hampshire primary, urging credit union members to vote in the 2020 elections.
CUNA’s MAP Community contains additional resources such as campaign logos, recommended social media language, as well as a platform to network and interact with other credit unions.
