Webinar features NCUA, Treasury officials on LICUs, military CUs

CUNA will host a webinar Thursday, May 7 featuring NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood and other officials on low-income status for credit unions and service to members of the military. Registration is currently open for the webinar, scheduled for Thursday starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET).

In addition to Hood, Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary Gavin Beske and Inclusiv President/CEO Cathie Mahon will be joined by NCUA staff from the agency’s Office of Credit Union Resources and Expansion.

The agenda will include information on

  • The benefits of the low-income credit union designation;
  • Secondary capital for low-income credit unions; and
  • Treasury resources available for community and economic development.

Those who register for the live event will also have access to a recorded version. A separate registration for the recorded version only is also available. The recording will be available the following day.
