CUNA’s latest Member Activation Program (MAP) template is now available, designed to encourage credit union members to share stories on how their credit union has helped them during the pandemic. There is also a template available for credit unions to use for staff to share inspiring interactions they’ve had with members over the recent weeks.
“The pandemic has brought uncertainty and a sense of grief to people around the country, but credit unions have been living their values throughout the trying time to get their members, businesses and communities through the pandemic,” said Adam Engelman, CUNA’s director, federal grassroots and programs. “Collecting these stories allow us to demonstrate precisely how credit unions have served as financial first responders and help us remind policymakers around the country the value credit unions bring to their communities.”
MAP provides templates for messages that credit unions can customize to match their regular communications materials, allowing them to reach members directly with important information. Credit unions that go out with MAP templates are also encouraged to report their results back to CUNA.
CUNA has opened MAP resources, including the MAP Community, to all CUNA member credit unions to assist with COVID-19 recovery efforts.
The CUNA/American Association of Credit Union Leagues COVID-19 Response Center also contains a number of resources for credit unions, including messaging and ads for digital channels, which can be found under the “External Communications Resources” tab.
