Grants available for COVID-19-related costs from N.J., Pa. foundations

June 16, 2020
COVID19

The New Jersey and Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundations, through a generous grant from Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, are offering a special COVID-19 grant program for credit unions. The focus of the grants is to help credit unions create and maintain a safe and healthy work environment and to address other needs that the credit union may be facing as a result of the pandemic.

The goal of the program is to ensure the health and safety of credit union staff and members.

The grants are limited to $1,000 maximum per credit union. Applicants may be credit unions in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Other vendors or credit unions wishing to add to this funding pool are encouraged to contact the Foundations. All amounts are welcome and appreciated.

Request examples include office needs related to adapting physical office or workforce to serve members during the COVID-19 crisis, including physical barriers, protective gear (e.g. masks, gloves), sanitizing supplies, and services, etc.

Grant funds are not intended for such things as regulatory fees, general operating expenses, association dues, audits and assessments, new products, or services, etc.
