Kyle Hauptman, nominated by the president to serve on the NCUA board, will appear before the Senate Banking Committee July 21.
Hauptman, currently an advisor for Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on economic policy and staff director of the Senate Banking Committee’s subcommittee on economic policy, was nominated in June. He would take the spot of current board member J. Mark McWatters for a term that expires in August 2024.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (ET), and will be livestreamed on the committee’s website.
