Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® has been named winner of a Hermes Creative Award, an international competition that recognizes outstanding work while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communications professionals.
Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the Hermes Creative Awards evaluates the creative industry’s top publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs. AMCP is the industry’s preeminent third-party evaluator of creative work and the organization has judged over 200,000 entries since its formation in 1994.
CUNA announced the launch of Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® in summer 2018 as a modern, research-driven national credit union awareness program.

Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® earned a Platinum award recognition in the Electronic/Social/Interactive Media category, an award for those that score between 90-100 from judges.
America’s credit unions, Leagues and business partners have joined CUNA to fund the campaign, which recently launched in Northern California, Rhode Island, Texas and Tennessee, bringing the total number of states where the campaign is live to 24.
