New eSchool dives into methods for effective change management

Learn how to minimize disruption from planned or unplanned change by attending the new CUNA Leading Through Uncertainty – Change Management eSchool, a new three-part eSchool that provides credit union leaders with ways to proactively help staff embrace transition. Registration is now open for the eSchool featuring three, one-hour sessions that will help you confidently guide your team through inevitable change.

“Successfully managing change is about more than switching process, it’s about supporting and helping people learn and grow in a new environment,” said Kristin Ryan, director of learning events for CUNA. “This eSchool covers essential knowledge and skills that leaders need to create agile teams and lead transformation.”

  • Part 1 – Change Management 101 – Sept. 21

Build your foundational knowledge of managing change during this session that looks at the role of leaders and managers, how people move through transitions, the impact of emotions and motivating others.

  • Part 2 – Preparing for the Unexpected – Sept. 22

Learn more about the tools and techniques you need to champion a change effort. You’ll dive into the neuroscience behind change and stress, get tactics to build resilience and engage your team to take steps toward productive transformation.

  • Part 3 – Managing Dissent – Sept. 23

Discover the five most common reasons people resist change and how you can mitigate these roadblocks with tactics to support your staff as they learn and grow.
