Credit union attorneys can earn CLE credits at CUNA Attorney’s Virtual Conference

September 8, 2020

Attorneys who represent credit unions and credit union organizations will receive current and comprehensive legal and regulatory training at CUNA Attorney’s Virtual Conference Oct. 26 to 28.

This conference is beneficial for attorneys who represent credit unions as in-house counsel or as outside practitioners. Attorneys attending the online event will have the opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, along with valuable networking with colleagues, regulators and subject matter experts. Attorneys generally must earn CLE credits annually, with the required number varying from state to state.

"We continue to experience a shifting legal and regulatory landscape and know that people are trying to maximize their time to work through all the changes," said Jared Ihrig, Chief Compliance Officer & Counsel, CUNA. "This is a time-saving and economical option for attorneys who can spend more time in the office while staying up-to-date on important legal issues affecting credit unions and earning their CLE credits."

Sessions include:

  • NCUA Update
  • Legal Implications of COVID-19 Legislation
  • Hemp and Marijuana Banking Legal Considerations
  • Collections and Bankruptcy Update
  • Current Claims, Litigation, and Insurance Issues affecting Credit Unions

Register for the virtual conference here. Only attorneys may attend.
