Hispanic Heritage Month runs each year from September 15 to October 15. This year, credit unions and system partners honored the event by sharing messages of celebration, support, awareness, and creativity on Twitter.

In celebration of #HispanicHeritageMonth, AACUC’s #CTC Conversations will be moderated/coordinated by NLCUP, the Network of Latino Credit Union Professionals.

Hispanic Heritage Month was originally signed into law on Sept. 17th, 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Johnson. It was then enacted into law on Aug. 17, 1988 by President Reagan to be celebrated for 30 days, making it what we now call Hispanic Heritage Month. pic.twitter.com/yemLE7nPTs
