CULAC Confirms 26 New CU Leaders to Serve on Board of Trustees

The Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) executive committee today confirmed League nominations to serve on the CULAC Board of Trustees. The board serves as the governing body for CULAC and includes a representative from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

“Congratulations to our newly confirmed members of the Board of Trustees,” said Trey Hawkins, CUNA Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Political Action. “It is an honor to have trustees from all 50 states working with us to ensure credit unions are strongly represented in Congress.”

The trustees will serve two-year terms, 2021-2022, and will join 23 other CULAC Trustees currently serving in the middle of their terms.

The confirmed Trustees include:

In the 2020 general election, 387 CULAC-backed candidates won elections to Congress, marking a 96% success rate for the organization’s election efforts.
