Compliance: CUNA offers new monthly video/email update

February 8, 2021
Compliance: Start from a place of ‘yes’

CUNA launched its latest compliance resource, a monthly email update.

“Each month this new resource will highlight topics that you as a credit union leader need to know about compliance. We’ll spotlight recent, can’t-miss compliance news and make sure you’re looped in on training opportunities and other compliance solutions that CUNA offers,” said CUNA Chief Compliance Officer Jared Ihrig. “We’ll also include links to great resources you can check out for a deeper dive into the compliance landscape.”

The first update highlights:

  • NCUA’s examination priorities for 2021;
  • NCUA’s Letter to Credit Unions on the Consolidated Appropriations Act signed into law in December 2020; and
  • CUNA’s Compliance Year in Review and Year in Review checklist.

CUNA members opted in to compliance communications from CUNA should receive the newsletter. Members can subscribe by logging into “My CUNA” and editing their communication preferences.
