Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® lands in Wyoming

Credit Union Awareness LLC announced today that the AI driven, category-level brand campaign Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® has launched in Wyoming. Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® is a first of its kind digital campaign designed to dispel commonly held myths about credit unions while increasing consumer consideration for credit unions as their best financial partner.

“What better way to celebrate the opportunities that credit unions bring to consumers in Wyoming,” said Chris Lorence, Credit Union Awareness Executive Director. “We are thrilled to bring this credit union driven campaign to Wyoming and are grateful to the Mountain West Credit Union Association for their enormous support for opening consumers eyes to credit unions.”

Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® has gained over 1,116 supporting organizations and credit unions nationwide in a united 24/7/365 initiative to increase consumer consideration for credit unions through education and brand awareness. The campaign has launched in twenty-six states and is expected to launch in at least 4 other states in the upcoming months.

Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) President and CEO Scott Earl said: “We are excited to have the Open Your Eyes campaign launch in Wyoming. This campaign is highly targeted and designed specifically to reach new consumers, helping to raise awareness to the many benefits of credit union membership. Additionally, it equips our credit unions with even more tools to promote the movement. It’s exciting to have Wyoming join Arizona in our region, which launched the campaign in late 2019.”

As of April 1, 2021, Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® had gained over 2.57 billion impressions and earned 959 million video views from start to finish. In addition, it had driven 6 million consumers to the campaign’s consumer-facing website YourMoneyFurther.com to learn about the benefits of joining a credit union.
