CUNA and its political action committee (PAC), the Credit Union Legislative Action Committee (CULAC), were recognized with three Pollie Awards by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) Thursday. The awards were for credit union political efforts in the 2020 election cycle.
“We are honored AAPC has recognized the work that we are doing on behalf of the credit union movement,” said Trey Hawkins, CUNA Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Political Action. “CUNA, CULAC, and our League partners work hard to support the lawmakers who appreciate and advance the credit union difference in Congress.”

Dubbed “the Oscars of political advertising,” the Pollie Awards are the most prestigious awards in the political communications and public affairs industries. The awards are selected by a blind jury of professional peers.
