Two tracks offered at CUNA Marketing & Business Development Certification School

May 25, 2021
Break-through branding: Build an emotional connection

CUNA Marketing & Business Development Certification School, to be held Oct. 4-8, will offer two certification opportunities for credit union professionals.

“Attendees can choose to focus on marketing or business development as their core education focus with the end goal to obtain the relevant certification,” said Ariel Bilskey, director of blended learning at Credit Union National Association. “The added bonus is that they’ll also experience shared learning and networking opportunities with all attendees. Both marketing and business development tracks will enjoy a mix of classroom-style learning, as well as group discussion and project learning.”

Completion of the certification school leads to opportunities for earning Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive (CUCME) or Credit Union Business Development Professional (CUBDP) designation. CUCME certification opportunities occur after attending all three years of the marketing track and passing a comprehensive exam at the end of each term. Business development certification is an option after one year.
