‘Through the Leadership Lens’ provides actionable insights for credit union CEOs

June 2, 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 2, 2021
Washington, DC

Credit union CEOs will gain insight into how they can improve their own credit union operations and member experience, as well as further their leadership skills, by attending Through the Leadership Lens Virtual Series, presented by CUNA CEO Council and sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group.

“We’re excited to present a series that will provide insights to CEOs as they lead their credit unions through current concerns and strategize for future success,” said Maurice Smith, Chair of the CUNA CEO Council and CEO of Local Government FCU. Smith noted, “We created a series of five one-hour sessions, one a month, to make it easy for CEOs to fit into their busy schedules. CEOs who attend the full series will hear from brilliant thought leaders, representing expertise from outside and within the credit union industry.”

The series kicks off on June 30 with former executive coach to Steve Jobs and foremost authority on intelligent leadership, John Mattone.

Sessions are open to both members and non-members of the CEO Council, but attendees must be members of CUNA. Both series and individual session registrations are available.

Sessions include:

  • June 30: Successful Leadership in a Disruptive World
  • July 21: Workforce at a Crossroads: Current Considerations & Future Strategies
  • August 18: Enhancing Member Experience and Increasing Loyalty
  • September 15: Outside & Inside – Economic Outlook: 2022 (and Beyond)
  • October 20: Unprecedented Change and Being Future Ready

The first 75 registrants will receive books from series speakers: John Mattone’s The Intelligent Leader and Joseph Michelli’s Stronger Through Adversity: World-Class Leaders Share Pandemic-Tested Lessons on Thriving During the Toughest Challenges.
