Jim Hayes has been named as the new president/CEO for State Employees Credit Union in Raleigh, N.C. Hayes was most recently president/CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union in Suitland, Md.

“I’ve enjoyed working together with Jim when he led Andrews Federal Credit Union, and I look forward to continuing the great relationship between SECU and the CUNA-League system,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle.

“I also want to recognize outgoing President/CEO Mike Lord for the great work he’s accomplished and to thank him for the excellent relationship between the credit union, CUNA, and the Carolinas Credit Union League during his tenure.”

Hayes has over 25 years of experience working in the credit union industry. He previously worked for Western Corporate Federal Credit Union as their chief financial officer and as a capital markets specialist and corporate examiner for the National Credit Union Administration.
