CUNA's Kebede to examine post-COVID future at virtual symposium

CUNA Senior Economist Dawit Kebede will present at a World Council of Credit Unions virtual symposium Oct. 7 designed to help credit unions prepare for the long-lasting impacts of the pandemic, as well as a post-COVID future. Registration is now open for the event. 

The economic impacts of COVID-19 are still being felt throughout the world, with some regions facing deeper and longer-lasting negative effects than others. Along with the impacts being felt on a national and regional level, credit unions face their own unique set of financial challenges going forward.

This World Council of Credit Unions virtual event is It will examine global economic forecasts for the year ahead and provide specific indicators credit unions should be looking at as they prepare for 2022.

Kebede will present along with Franziska Lieselotte Ohnsorge, manager, prospects group in the Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions (EFI) Practice Group of the World Bank.
