CUNA Director of Federal Grassroots makes 'Top 21 in 2021' for advocacy

November 15, 2021
Adam Engelman

CUNA Director of Federal Grassroots and Programs Adam Engelman was recognized by The Advocacy Association as one of its “Top 21 in 2021” advocacy practitioners for 2021.

Nominated by their peers, honorees have proven to lead in innovation, help advance the profession, and are passionate leaders and mentors, according to the association.

““From the Member Activation Program to the Political Grassroots Network, Adam is a key collaborator in the CUNA/League advocacy system, and I’m proud that his leadership has garnered this recognition," said CUNA Chief Advocacy Officer Ryan Donovan.

Engleman manages the CUNA Member Activation Program, which equips credit unions with the tools to engage members in advocacy. In 2021, MAP was part of the effort to drive more than 800,000 responses to Congress opposing the proposed expanded Internal Revenue Service reporting requirement.
