CSS names DBSI as design-build, CFM as banking technology preferred providers

November 22, 2021

DBSI, the leader in creating transformed experiences, and CFM, the leader in enabling transformed experiences, have been selected as the newest CUNA Strategic Services (CSS) alliance providers.

As a design-build firm, DBSI uses a consultative “current-to-desired client state” approach that leverages an intimate understanding of experience mapping, branding, design, technology and staff training that is foundational to achieving the outcomes credit unions desire.

CFM optimizes the foundational technology behind transformation by integrating cash recyclers, self-service kiosks, and other peripherals into the credit union’s core platform. These integrations and powerful data analytics capabilities allow credit unions to leverage technology to its full potential and support modern banking experiences.

“Financial institutions invest millions of dollars into technology yet can only use a handful of the features because the integration with their core solution doesn’t support all the capabilities. DBSI+CFM work together to integrate technology to banking systems and the retail strategy making universal associates, tablet-based service models and micro-branches possible,” said Nathan Moore, CTO of DBSI+CFM.

“Our entire focus is helping credit unions redefine branch and corporate headquarters, and we deeply understand the challenges and goals our industry faces,” said CEO of DBSI+CFM, John W. Smith. “No other firm combines design, technology and engineered experiences together under one roof like we do. It’s through this fusion of elements that we help credit unions see results in cutting retail channel costs, shifting from transactional to advisory, enabling universal associates and ultimately creating astounding experiences that meet rising consumer expectations.”

Barb Lowman, President of CUNA Strategic Services enthused, “We’re excited to bring on DBSI and CFM as our newest strategic alliance providers. Through their innovative and comprehensive approach, they are able to help credit unions re-imagine their brick and mortar presence.  Working together, we can create unmatched retail experiences for members, built on convenience and accessibility, while streamlining operations and driving down costs for credit unions.”

DBSI+CFM has delivered over $1B in financial services projects, been named Most Innovative by AZ Business magazine and BestCompaniesAZ against 300 other companies, awarded Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing company twice and has a combined 1000+ clients in all 50 states. Credit unions looking to improve their member experience, grow membership or improve their staff experience and efficiency can learn more about DBSI+CFM by visiting the DBSI CSS page or CFM CSS page.
