CUNA to offer free Anti-Money Laundering Act Changes webinar

December 2, 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 2, 2021
Washington, DC

Learn how to lay the groundwork for the coming changes resulting from the 2020 Anti-Money Laundering Act by attending Preparing for the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 Changes webinar Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. CST.

National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is urging credit unions to start considering how they will incorporate BSA/AML priorities into their risk-based compliance programs. Smart use of compliance management technology can lay the groundwork for the coming changes — and demonstrate that work to examiners.

“Whether or not your credit union already has already implemented a comprehensive compliance management system, you will need to adjust to these changes when they go into effect,” said Jared Ihrig, chief compliance officer and counsel for CUNA. “Join the webinar to learn how to make the best use of technology to gain confidence in your credit union’s BSA compliance function.”

This free webinar will demonstrate how to use Credit Union Compliance Management System PLUSTM (CU CMS+) to:

  • Start creating an internal change management process for tracking updates, reviews and more
  • Assign and track BSA-related trainings
  • Use versioning to manage policy and procedure updates
  • Show the work your credit union has already done as new changes come out

Register for the webinar here.
