NCUA budget, NOL, subordinated debt final rule on Dec. 16 agenda

The NCUA board will consider the 2022 Normal Operating Level the agency’s 2022-23 budget at its Dec. 16 meeting. It will also vote on final rules related to mortgage servicing assets, complex credit union leverage ratio, and subordinated debt.

CUNA Chief Economist Mike Schenk spoke at NCUA’s public budget briefing, and CUNA submitted detailed comments on the budget this week.

The complete agenda is:

  • Share insurance fund 2022 Normal Operating Level.
  • Final rule, parts 702 and 703, Complex Credit Union Leverage Ratio.
  • Final rule, part 703, mortgage servicing assets.
  • NCUA’s 2022-2023 budget.
  • Final rule, parts 702 and 741, subordinated debt.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. ET, and will be streamed live on NCUA.gov.
