CUNA, ACUIA Internal Audit Certification School registration open

December 16, 2021
NCUA exam priorities: What to expect in 2020

Reducing risk and strengthening audit programs are the lead topics at the upcoming CUNA & ACUIA Internal Audit Certification School March 21-24 in Phoenix. Registration is limited to 75 attendees so those in attendance will receive the best experience and education possible.

“It's really great information whether you've been in internal audit, or are starting the department from scratch. The classes really prepare you for the exam. You get to network with a ton of different people who are always happy to help each other,” said past attendee, Joshua Thrash, Internal Auditor at DuGood Federal Credit Union.

“This program fills up quickly, so people who want to earn their Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) designation should register very soon,” said Kathy Smith, instructional design manager for CUNA. “This designation not only demonstrates mastery of the important internal audit process, it also can be a critical step in professional development of auditors. It offers a great opportunity to peer network with credit union auditors as well.”

The program dives deep into the complexities of an internal audit. Attendees will learn tools to help create and tailor an audit plan or risk assessment for their credit union. Learn more and register here.
