CUNA GAC attendees to verify vaccine status prior to attendance

January 5, 2022

Washington, D.C. has implemented mask and vaccine requirements for indoor venues, which includes the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, site of the 2022 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). CUNA will coordinate with GAC attendees to verify their vaccine status through an independent provider in advance of the event, which will be held Feb. 27 to March 3. Anyone over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated by Feb. 15 to attend an indoor event, per local guidelines.

“Attendee health and safety remain our chief concern with CUNA GAC, and all of our in-person events,” said Todd Spiczenski, CUNA chief products and services officer. “We feel confident that this process will allow our members to feel safe attending CUNA GAC in person while following all federal, state, and local guidelines.”

CUNA will also announce information on a virtual, limited-content CUNA GAC option in the coming days. The CUNA GAC attendee homepage will be updated as new information is available.
