Board members who attend CUNA Credit Union Board of Directors Conference in Honolulu will hear CUNA-specific updates and gain insight into industry hot topics, all while enjoying a focused atmosphere in a captivating setting.
“It is vital for board members to stay informed on current events and hot topics affecting the credit union world. Acquiring up-to-date insight into the industry will in turn allow attendees to strengthen their board, strategic plans and credit union operations,” said Kienan Shaw, senior manager, learning events for CUNA.

Conference dates are May 1-4 at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. Immediately prior to the conference, the resort will also host CUNA Board Governance Intensive Workshop April 29 and 30. This workshop will cover governance essentials such as a board's role in the governance process, how to govern effectively and keys to developing a strategic mindset.
Attendees can renew their Certified Credit Union Board Member (CCUB) designation by attending. An excursion for registered attendees is included, as well as a guest program and the ability to purchase an excursion ticket for guests
