Credit unions seek ways to better serve America’s consumers, CUNA Chief Advocacy Officer Ryan Donovan and Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer Jason Stverak wrote to all 535 Congressional offices Wednesday.
“From everyday checking and savings to finding personalized solutions that keep households out of debt, America’s credit unions continue to serve a congressionally mandated mission to improve financial well-being for all and advance the communities they serve,” they wrote.
The message comes on the heels of last week’s CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference, which saw more than 4,500 credit union leaders meet with policymakers on credit union priorities.
It also includes a link to CUNA 2022 credit union advocacy priorities highlighting how credit unions seek to continue to expand financial access.
