IRS hearing, Yellen testimony on international finance this week

The House and Senate are both in Washington, D.C. this week.

The House will consider the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Replenishment Act of 2021, and the Senate will consider the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Hearings CUNA is engaged with this week include:

  • Wednesday 10 a.m. ET: House Financial Services Committee hearing with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on the state of the international financial system.
  • Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. ET: House Small Business Subcommittee on Underserved, Agricultural, and Rural Business Development hearing: “SBA Management Review: Office of Advocacy.”
  • Thursday, Senate Finance Committee hearing: “The IRS, the President's Fiscal Year 2023 Budget, and the 2022 Filing Season.”
