Credit union champions from around the country were victorious in Tuesday’s mid-term elections. Credit Union National Association (CUNA), its federal PAC Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) and state leagues invested $6.6 million in support of 398 candidates, including 9 priority races, on the ballot Tuesday.
“We congratulate the credit union champions who won Tuesday night, and we look forward to working closely with them in the next Congress on policies that will allow credit unions to increase services to members and communities,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle.
As of Wednesday morning, 98% of CULAC-backed candidates in races called have won. Notable wins which CUNA invested in advertising include:
