The credit union movement is celebrating National Credit Union Youth Month throughout April. The theme of 2023's Youth Month is "Unleash the Power of Saving at Your Credit Union™"
“Youth Month presents an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the credit union movement with younger members," CUNA Manager of Consumer Engagement Megan Crowson says. "It plants the seeds of financial well-being at an early age." Last year, 713 new youth accounts were opened and 23,490 deposits were made during Youth Month. This year, credit unions have just begun participating in the National Youth Saving Challenge™ and recognizing#CUYouthMonth on social media:
