CU 24 Conducts Fourth Annual CU Industry Survey

Survey will identify trends in products, services, and CU industry challenges.

March 2, 2012
No Comments

Credit Union 24 has launched its fourth annual credit union industry survey, which seeks to identify trends in financial products and services, industry challenges, and recent industry developments.

It will share the results in the second quarter.

Credit Union 24 encourages credit union representatives to complete the survey and “share their voice” about the credit union industry. Doing so makes participants eligible to win an iPad2® or pre-loaded Visa® gift card.

The 14-question survey is available until the close of the exhibit hall during the 2012 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).

Individuals may complete the survey during the conference at the Credit Union 24 booth (No. 359) during open exhibit hall hours March 18-20.

“Regulatory changes to our industry during the past year, combined with the economic recession that plagued credit unions during the past few years, has created an interesting environment for our industry,” said Jim Park, president/CEO of Credit Union 24. “We are looking forward to sharing the results with the industry about how credit unions have adjusted their products, services, and EFT network relationships to accommodate the evolution of our industry. Now in our fourth consecutive year of conducting this survey, we anticipate a number of evolving trends to illustrate themselves through the survey.”

Survey questions address credit union members’ use of ATMs and other point-of-sale outlets, challenges credit unions are experiencing in attracting new members, competitive advantages and disadvantages, and successful or unsuccessful products and services.

New for this year’s survey are questions that identify the effect of regulations on credit unions’ network relationships and areas of legislation that are of most concern to credit unions.

Those who complete the survey and provide their contact information will be entered to win one of two Apple iPad2s or one of two pre-loaded Visa gift cards that are valued at $100 and $50. Prize drawings will be held at the conclusion of the GAC exhibit hall on March 20, although winners don’t need to be present to win.
