Sooper Credit Union in Denver is celebrating National Credit Union Youth Week throughout April, says Amanda Quinn, marketing specialist.
She says the $266 million asset credit union is celebrating by:
►Sending postcards featuring Youth Week’s mustache theme to all member households with youth accounts, and all households with the potential for children in the household.
►Hosting a contest. “Throughout April, children can come into one of our five branches and enter to win a giant stuffed puppy dog by guessing how many jelly beans are in that branch's jelly bean jar,” Quinn says.
►Running a popular campaign, “$20 for You, $20 for Youth.” Whenever a member opens a youth account, the new youth account gets $20 and the referring member account gets $20—showing “It pays to ‘stache your cash’ at Sooper Credit Union.”
