MADISON, Wis. (12/9/14)--In collaboration with The Rochdale Group Inc., the Credit Union National Association announced that registration is open for CUNA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Directors and Executives.
The four-day event is scheduled for April 19-22 in Chicago.
Todd Spiczenski, CUNA senior vice president of association services, said he's seen credit unions turn risk "from a scary word into a strategic element that can be harnessed and leveraged for responsible financial gain" through this program.
"All it takes is a change in perspective, a bit of confidence and the right industry know-how," he added. "And that's exactly what the Rochdale team delivers through Enterprise Risk Management each year."
The program is presented by a team of ERM experts, and it provides credit union leaders with the tools necessary to take control of risk and develop solutions within today's financial environment.
Attendees will learn about the "ERM approach" and its implementation. Participants also will have the opportunity to network with other credit union leaders and gain expert advice from members of The Rochdale Group team.
