MADISON, Wis. (2/13/14)--The deadline to nominate credit unions and industry professionals for a prominent international award is set to pass early next month.
The World Council of Credit Unions said recommendations for Distinguished Service Awards are due March 3.
The individual awards recognize professionals who have positively affected the industry "outside their home countries." Institutional awards go to organizations that have offered long-term assistance to international credit union movements. Up to three individual awards and a maximum of one institutional award are given annually.
Nominations must be made by a World Council member organization. The awards will be presented at the group's conference this July in Gold Coast, Australia.
