Diebold takes 'Next Big Thing' on the road

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (1/12/15)--To help kick off 2015, Diebold is sponsoring the "Next Big Thing," an international event that will inspire and motivate credit unions about the possibilities of reinventing themselves.

Diebold is a CUNA Strategic Services strategic alliance provider.

The event takes place at 1 p.m. (ET) Jan. 22 at locations across the country. Credit unions are invited to participate at special watch parties.

Cities with viewing parties include:

  • Austin, Texas;
  • Boston;
  • Kansas City, Mo.;
  • Los Angeles;
  • New York;
  • an Francisco; and
  • eattle.

International experts will discuss their views of the digital world and marketplace dynamics, and why partnership and collaboration are critical to success. Participants will hear real stories from  industry peers about how they are transforming their businesses right now.

Next Big Thing speakers include:

  • Robert Wolcott, co-founder, Kellogg Innovation Network;
  • Peter Hinssen, acclaimed author and entrepreneur;
  • Harley Manning, vice president/research director, Forrester, and co-author of "Outside In: The Power of Putting Your Customers at the Center of Your Business;"
  • Dave Gaudet, executive producer, ComedySportz;
  • Joe Jensen, general manager, retail solutions division, Intel;
  • Karen Cone, general manager, worldwide financial services, Microsoft;
  • Jim Grimmer, senior vice president, head of North American ATM Channel, TD Bank;
  • Giovanni Buson, head of retail organization, UniCredit Bank; and
  • Givanildo Luz, president, Saque e Pague.
