Ill. league meeting stirs up a 'recipe for success'

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (4/16/15)--The Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) opens its 85th annual convention today in Schaumburg, Ill., with more than 650 credit union representatives expected to attend.
The convention's theme is "Recipe for Success."
Friday begins with a general session that includes a panel on fraud, EMV and tokenization. Inductees to the Illinois Credit Union Hall of Fame also will be announced as will a number of memorial and tribute awards.
One of Friday's afternoon sessions is "Dialogue with the Presidents," an interactive session featuring ICUL President/CEO Sean Hession and Dick Ensweiler, president of the Cornerstone Credit Union League, who also served as ICUL president from 1974 to 1984. Breakout sessions will cover mobile marketing, social media, compliance and indirect lending.
Saturday's closing session features Mike Beall, president/CEO, National Cooperative Business Association, who will talk about cooperation among cooperatives.
