LIVONIA, Mich. (12/5/14)--Cadillac has once again joined forces with CU Solutions Group's Love My Credit Union Rewards program, for a limited time.
Love My Credit Union Rewards, a program that helps credit union members save money on products and services through discounts, first partnered with Cadillac in 2008 when the rewards program was called Invest in America.
The renewed partnership will allow credit union members to save thousands of dollars on new, eligible Cadillac vehicles. The pilot discount program with Cadillac will run through Jan. 5.
If the credit union industry performs well over that stretch, CU Solutions Group said, it could retain Cadillac as a long-term addition to Love My Credit Union Rewards.
"With luxury car sales on the rise, the discount couldn't have come at a better time," said David Adams, CEO of CU Solutions Group. "The addition of Cadillac alongside Chevrolet, Buick and GMC, gives credit unions another big reason to promote the credit union member discounts to their members.
"The credit union industry's support during this trial period will determine whether Cadillac remains in Love My Credit Union Rewards for the long haul," he added.
Since its inception in 2008, Love My Credit Union Rewards has driven more than 605,000 car and truck sales for GM brands, and it's estimated that the credit union member discount offered by GM has helped credit unions close more than 353,000 auto loans, totaling more than $7.8 billion.
GM also has experienced increases in growth thanks to the program, as credit union member discount sales have risen nearly 80% annually through September 2014.
Credit union members have saved more than $1 billion through the overall Love My Credit Union Rewards program.
