ALEXANDRIA, Va. (1/14/15)--The National Credit Union Administration is now accepting participants for a webinar on the agency's risk-based capital proposal, which will be held Jan. 21, starting at 2 p.m. (ET). The webinar will be hosted by Larry Fazio, director of the NCUA's Office of Examination and Insurance.
According to the NCUA, the webinar will consist of an overview of the revised proposal and Fazio and NCUA staff will go into specific changes made from the earlier risk-based capital proposal.
The registration link is now open, and participants can submit questions in advance to WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov, with the subject line "Risk-Based Capital." The webinar will be closed captioned and archived online approximately three weeks after the live event.
The Credit Union National Association will be hosting its own webinar, also featuring Fazio. CUNA staff, along with Fazio, will review the proposal and answer questions from participants, time permitting.
Registration is open for the CUNA webinar, though there is limited space. It will take place Jan. 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. (ET).
