The credit union service organization provided the opportunity to its member-owner credit unions to reward their members for using their credit card and debit cards.
"PSCU wanted to develop a loyalty program that provided an opportunity for credit unions to interact with their members and make memories that will last for a long time," said Annie Cox, director of Credit Union Growth Solutions for PSCU.
Winners of the Credit Union Magic Minute loyalty sweepstakes received an all-expense-paid trip for two to Chicago, where they enjoyed limo service and VIP access to the Skydeck Lounge in Willis Tower.
On Dec. 4, each winning team had 60 seconds to fill the cart, loading it up with iPads, digital cameras, designer handbags, flat-screen TVs and other merchandise.
This year's winners came from Affinity Plus FCU, St. Paul, Minn., $1.7 billion in assets; ALEC FCU, Baton Rouge, La., with $10 million in assets; American Airlines FCU, Fort Worth, Texas, with $5.6 billion in assets; Citadel FCU, Exton, Pa., with $1.9 billion in assets; and Ohio University CU, Athens, Ohio, with $294 million in assets.
