MADISON, Wis. (2/17/15)--The National Credit Union Foundation announced registration is now open for its fall Credit Union Development Education (DE) training.
The Sept. 9-16 program will take place in Madison, Wis., and is limited to 42 registrants.
Ken Olson, president/CEO, Old West FCU, John Day, Ore., with $122 million in assets, attended the January session. "It was a very meaningful and humbling experience for me, and DE should be required training for every leader within our organizations," Olson said.
DE training is open to everyone from new employees who need a credit union orientation to seasoned executives. Graduates earn certification as Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs) and join a networking group including more than 1,200 graduates worldwide.
