 WASHINGTON (5/26/15)--U.S. Treasury Community Development Financial Institutions (CFDI) Fund Director Annie Donovan announced last week that the fund is requesting proposals for new and innovative ways to expand services to low-income communities. Called the Innovation Challenge, the initiative’s goal is to finance the development of a method, model, tool or product that CDFIs can use to build capacity to expand CDFI investments in underserved markets, particularly rural ones.
