Verafin named Best Place to Work in Atlantic Canada

ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland and Labrador (6/22/15)--Verafin Inc., a fraud detection and anti-money laundering (FRAMLx) cloud-based software provider, has been named the Best Place to Work in Atlantic Canada.

Verafin is a CUNA Strategic Services strategic alliance provider.

The Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada project is a regional program managed by Best Companies Group in partnership with Progress magazine.

Verafin has placed on the list in the past, but this is the company’s first time in the top position.

Best Companies Group conducts a two-part process designed to gather detailed data about each participating company. In part one, the employer completes a questionnaire and in part two, employees of the company complete an employee survey. The aggregated information is combined to produce a detailed set of data enabling the analysts to determine the strengths and opportunities of the participating companies.

The categories of consideration are: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; training, development and resources; pay and benefits; and overall engagement.
