‘Now is the Time’ for Sioux Falls FCU’s nat’l ad award

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (6/23/15)--Sioux Falls (S.D.) FCU received a high honor in the world of advertising recently.

The Telly Awards, which recognizes outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs from across the globe, named Sioux Falls--and its advertising agency Epicosity--a bronze winner of the 36th Annual Telly Awards for the credit union’s “Now is the Time” campaign.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Telly Awards executive director. “Sioux Falls FCU’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

More than 500 industry professionals judge the entries, and only roughly 25% of all submitted work receives at least the Bronze Telly. Less than 10% of entries receive the Silver Telly, which is the highest honor. 

The panel judges entries based on individual merit, rather than against one another.

“Our goal of the campaign was to demonstrate that, as a credit union, Sioux Falls FCU can provide more value and better service to the residents in our service area,” said Fran Sommerfeld, Sioux Falls president/CEO (The Memo June 22). “With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.”
