ARLINGTON. Va. (7/7/15)--The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will convene its Advisory Committee on Community Banking on Friday, July 10. In addition to providing an update on the FDIC's Community Banking Initiatives, staff will discuss a number of issues, including examination frequency and offsite monitoring; call report streamlining; the new cybersecurity assessment tool; and recent rulemakings. Also on the agenda, the committee is slated to discuss high-volatility commercial real estate loans and a review of banking regulations under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA).
