'PCUA 101' intros memberships benefits to Pa. CUs
HARRISBURG, Pa. (8/14/15)--To help its member credit unions maximize the benefits of their league and CUNA affiliation, the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) will host "PCUA 101: An Introduction to Your Association," Oct. 7, at Central Pennsylvania College in Summerdale, Pa.
"PCUA 101" is a one-day workshop that offers an overview of the services and opportunities the league and CUNA offers their members (Life is a Highway Aug. 12).
All management staff from member credit unions are invited to learn more about PCUA’s strategic initiatives, and how PCUA and CUNA are helping members achieve growth.
Among the services PCUA offers its members are:
- Government relations;
- Education and training;
- iBelong credit union advocacy campaign; and
- Credit Union Better Choice payday alternative lending program;
Among the services CUNA offers are:
- Grassroots and political action;
- Research and strategy;
- Marketing and member education; and
- Training and events
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the day will end with a dialogue at 3 p.m. Details will be provided in advance to all attendees.
There is no fee to attend the session. Participants are asked to register by Sept. 30.
