ST. CLOUD, Minn. (9/11/15)--Marking its 85th anniversary, St. Cloud (Minn.) FCU, is launching a new brand. The initiative includes a new logo and the tagline “Bank on a meaningful difference.” The new brand was created through a year-long process that included the credit union’s board of directors, members and employees. “As we look to our future, we honor our history and make an even stronger commitment to the future,” said Jed A. PEWAUKEE, Wis. (9/11/15)--The Wisconsin Credit Union League will host a free career mapping session for women at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 15--International Credit Union Day--as a way of encouraging female leaders in credit unions to strive for their full potential. The league encouraged credit unions' front line employees--particularly young professionals--as well as those who mentor them to participate. Among the presenters will be Cathy Tierney, president/CEO of Community First CU, Appleton; Kim Sponem, president/CEO, Summit CU, Madison; and Sherri Stumpf, president/CEO, Blackhawk Community CU, Janesville. The session, which will take place on the CUNA campus in Madison, is being convened by the Wisconsin Sister Society of the World Council of Credit Unions' Global Women's Leadership Network.
