WASHINGTON (10/2/15)--Credit unions that provide financial education classes for young members might be interested in an upcoming free webinar offered jointly by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. On Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. (ET), the agencies will present an overview of the "Money Smart for Young People" series and how it can help teach about finances. Money Smart is a broad financial education curriculum designed to help low- and moderate-income individuals outside the financial mainstream enhance their financial skills and create positive relationships with financial services providers.
