Diebold, Wincor Nixdorf deal creates world’s largest ATM maker

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, and PADERBORN, Germany (11/25/15)--Diebold Inc. and Wincor Nixdorf announced that they have entered into a merger agreement that will create the world’s largest ATM producer.

Diebold is a CUNA Strategic Services strategic alliance provider.

Following completion of the offer and subject to certain approvals, the combined company will be named Diebold Nixdorf with headquarters in North Canton, Ohio, and Paderborn, Germany.

The combination brings together two providers of branch automation and omnichannel experiences to create an organization focused on the entire value chain--consultation, design, build and operations, the two companies said in announcing the deal
