Matz to testify before HFSC as FSOC member

WASHINGTON (12/3/15)--National Credit Union Administration Chair Debbie Matz, as a voting member of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC), will testify before the House Financial Services Committee Dec. 8.

According to the House Financial Services Committee, the hearing will focus on the FSOC’s “agenda, operations and structure.”

Matz will appear before the committee alongside the heads of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Housing Finance Agency.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. (ET) Dec. 8, and will be streamed on the committee’s website.
