DNC middle class forum set for Wednesday
America’s Credit Unions and RealClearPolitics will conduct a second middle class forum Wednesday, this one at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia. The forum is scheduled to begin at noon (ET), and a link to a live video stream will be available on cuna.org.
“Decoding 2016: The Middle Class Vote” will start with a keynote interview with John Anzalone, the head pollster for the Hillary Clinton campaign. Next will be a panel with Jim Kessler, senior vice president for policy at think tank Third Way, as well as A.B. Stoddard and Sean Trende of RealClearPolitics.
The forum will conclude with a keynote interview with Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) and a Q&A session.
A similar forum was held at the Republican National Convention last week, also sponsored by America’s Credit Unions and hosted by RealClearPolitics.
On Thursday at the DNC, CUNA, Pennsylvania credit unions, the DNC Committee and RealClearPolitics will dedicate the city’s “leave-behind” project, a health and wellness garden at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pediatric Care Center.
