In the midst of the Great Recession, Bellco Credit Union leaders re-evaluated risk. An early adopter of an enterprise risk management framework, Bellco’s leadership set out to identify the risks it faced and determine the credit union’s risk profile.
Ryan Donovan, CUNA’s chief advocacy officer, recently traveled to Ukraine to discuss the importance of credit union advocacy. Donovan met with governmental officials and conducted advocacy and taxation workshops for association leaders. He shares some highlights from the visit.
