CUNA’s Essential Management Skills eSchool will be held Nov. 5-9.

This online school will teach attendees the ins and outs of credit union management and leadership, outlining the various responsibilities that apply to managers of every department.

“Entry to mid-level credit union managers all have some very similar tasks that can be explored regardless of their business area,” said Amanda Schumacher, CUNA instructional design manager at CUNA. “From interviewing and onboarding staff to writing effective reviews and motivating employees, there are some fundamental skills that all managers need to explore. The Essential Management Skills eSchool will give these managers the experience and confidence they need to become more effective in their day-to-day responsibilities.”

Topics include:

Managing conflict in the workplace;

Conducting interviews/onboarding;

Risk management; and

Employee engagement.

The eSchool has also been endorsed by the CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council and CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council.
